Requirements

Valid Business Registration
Must have a registered business in your operating country (Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, or Barbados).
KYB Verification
Complete our Know Your Business (KYB) verification process with business documents.
USDC Wallet on Base
Set up a wallet to receive USDC payments. We'll guide you through this.
Initial Liquidity
Maintain a minimum of $500 USD worth of local currency to start receiving transactions.
Reliable Communication
Ability to respond to transaction requests promptly via the CaribSend app or SMS notifications.

Understanding the Liquidity Model

As a merchant, you maintain a local currency liquidity pool. When a sender sends money, you receive USDC and disburse local currency (JMD, TTD, etc.) to the recipient.

Key Point: You're essentially trading your local currency for USDC. This is profitable if you can easily convert USDC back to local currency (via exchanges, P2P, or Circle direct redemption).

Your profit comes from:

2% commission on each transaction
FX spread if you convert USDC at better rates than the CaribSend rate
Volume — more transactions = more commission
